Goodbye, Mohican.

It is with bittersweet pride that we must announce that our Mohican model home has been sold to a wonderful buyer here in Ohio, CindySue. While we are happy to make her tiny home dream a reality, it's hard not to get a little emotional about our tiny home journey so far. Though we have built homes and shells for many others, parting with our Mohican is an exciting and humbling pill to swallow.

We built the Mohican as our very first model unit, and we poured our savings into it and Modern Tiny Living so we could start our tiny home company the right way - with beautiful designs, robust construction, and competitive pricing. We are so grateful for the support from all of you, our customers, and our families. The Mohican has been featured on HGTV, visited Colorado, Tennessee, Kentucky, Ohio and other places, and has been featured in many shows and parades. We are so proud of the craftwork in the home, from the beautiful butcher block countertops, to the creative storage, to our signature barn door. Call us crazy, but we think it's one of the most beautiful and functional 20 ft. homes on the market. We are sad to see it go!

However, it is with great excitement that we announce the build of our new 24-foot model home! Our new model is being brainstormed, designed and built as we speak, and we believe it's going to be the best tiny home of its kind in the Midwest! We can't wait to show you the designs and progress. It is currently unnamed, and we are open to ideas from our followers! Let us know if you have any cool names in mind :)

Also, we have had quite a few people inquire as to whether or not the Mohican is still available for purchase, and while our show unit is at its new happy location, we can still build you a brand new Mohican for just a little bit more than the used version! If you were interested in potentially purchasing our Mohican model, we would be happy to chat with you about it. 

To conclude, we are honored to be a part of the tiny home movement. We truly believe that the small living movement is here to stay as more and more people are "escaping the clutter" and building a lifestyle based upon what matters most - freedom, family, friends, and adventure.
