 We are so excited to see that two of the top five tiny house hotels in the United States feature tiny homes by Modern Tiny Living, according to Apartment Therapy. As many of you know, we recently built a handful of homes for River & Twine in North Carolina. River & Twine doesn’t officially open to guests until June 1, 2019. The tiny home hotel complex is a part of Rocky Mount Mills, a “work, play, live” development with housing, retail space, restaurants, and a craft beer incubator that so far houses seven breweries. It's going to be awesome! Be sure to follow them. We also built a bunch of homes for Try It Tiny, a wonderful company based in Indiana that not only has a tiny house hotel near the Indy 500, but also facilitates tiny house nightly rentals around the country, as well as helping prospective tiny house dwellers find land to lease for their homes! Try It Tiny is a spectacular asset to the tiny house industry, and if you ever want to rent a home, be sure to go through them.   We had a ton of fun chatting with 614 Magazine about the tiny house movement and Modern Tiny Living's role as pioneers. Tons of our custom tiny houses were featured in the article, as well as Modern Tiny Living's very own Trent Haery. So pumped to see the movement pick up steam with our local journalists!

We are one of the only builders on the list, as most Instagram accounts are individuals that just pull the best photos and homes from around the world. Our Modern Tiny Living account only posts tiny houses that are designed and built by Modern Tiny Living in Columbus, Ohio :-) Also, shout out to our Braxton tiny house build for being featured!  250,000!
From all of us at Modern Tiny Living, thank you so much for following our tiny house journey. We never thought in a hundred years that we would have a quarter of a million followers on Instagram, but lo and behold, here we are - and only in 3 short years! Whether you're someone who is seriously considering going tiny, looking for ideas, or following our story, we just appreciate having you in our little community. We love sharing our designs and builds with you, reading your feedback, and taking all of your thoughts into consideration for our future builds and models. The craziest thing about this following is that we've independently confirmed that are the MOST FOLLOWED tiny house builder in the entire world on Instagram. There are other tiny house design accounts that have tons of followers, but our account exclusively posts only our designs and builds that we have personally built for our awesome customers. We have never spent one dollar on Instagram ads (we didn't have the money to do it anyway!), and are grateful that our following has grown organically through word of mouth, friends tagging friends, and the help of people sharing our mission. We have a long way to go as a business, without a doubt. We've had plenty of growing pains as a team, as builders, as designers, and as pioneers in the tiny house industry here in the Midwest. We are grateful to our early customers and friends that were patient with us as we grew, learned, and eventually mastered the art of building a spectacular tiny house on wheels.
